Pollination is how plants give pollen to another plant to
make seeds. The first stage is attracting animals with beautify coloured petals
and a sweet smell.
The second stage is when an insect or animal comes to visit and whilst having a drink it rubs itself on the anther getting pollen stuck to the animal or insect.
The third stage is when the same insect or animal goes to another plant and whilst drinking another drink the pollen gets rubbed of onto the carpel.
The fourth stage is when all of the pollen comes off the animal or insect and gets stuck to the flower.
The fifth stage is when the pollen goes down the style to the ovaries.
The sixth stage is when the male part and the female part join to make the seeds.
Plants are really important because without them we wouldn’t have any air to breath. That is why pollination is really important to us.
